Spring Training Baseball at Tempe Diablo Stadium

This is the grass seats section at theTempe Diablo Stadium at 2200 West Alameda Drive

If you follow the grass seats all the way to the back there is a cute little area for the kids to play under the trees while the parents are watching the game.

View of some kids playing the clearing at the end of the grass seats row. You can't see the game from back there but the kids seem to have a lot of fun just running around and playing their own game of ball.

Remember to bring a ball and a glove to play some catch.

A little secret, at the end of the game they open that gate in the back and you can walk right out into the parking lot if that's the side you parked on.

Changing Hands Bookstore Phoenix, AZ

The Phoenix location of the Changing Hands Bookstore is located at 300 W. Camelback Rd inside the Newton center.

Straight ahead is the Southern Rail restaurant with the bookstore on the right.

This is the view of the main section of the Children's book area. It is very generously stocked with the most peaceful little sitting and reading area.

This fireplace was repurposed into a shelf for some specialty items and toys in the kids area. It has a skylight above it letting the sunlight inside through a sculpture with colored glass squares playing with the sunbeams. It makes it feel a little magical.

They have Storytime, Costume Storytime and Club Read to include kids of various age groups.

They have many unique gifts right in the front of the store to satisfy everyone's shopping interests.

This is a view of the seating area behind the First Draft coffee and beer bar. 

They have plenty of seating to bring your laptop, buy a coffee and a snack and relax inside the bookstore for awhile.

They have a very large children's section including many toys for the kids to play with and some seats so they can grab a book and read for awhile.

A favorite is the train table.

 

They also have many unique toys and gifts in the kids' section.

The graphic novel section is pretty good and is through this area on the back wall.

They also have a Wildflower Bread Company next door that leads into the bookstore.

There is free WiFi and you can trade in your used books for store credit.
